Pour son inauguration, MONTEVERITA présente l’exposition
»All of Them Witches » cinquième exposition personnelle de Marcella Barceló.
Nourri par un vaste répertoire d’influences, des affiches de films ghanéens jusqu’au cinéma érotique japonais, le travail de Marcella Barceló explore les possibilités évocatrices de l’image. Ses travaux ont été présentés dans de nom- breuses expositions en France et à l’étranger. En 2014, elle a participé à la Biennale du Dessin Contemporain à Paris et a gagné le Prix du Dessin Contemporain l’année suivante. Son œuvre a récemment rejoint les collections du Cabinet de dessin des Beaux arts de Paris.

»All of Them Witches » fifth solo show by Marcella Barceló.
Nourished by a vast repertoire of influences ranging from Ghanaian movie posters to Japanese erotica or slasher cinema, Marcella Barceló’s work explores the evocative possibilities of the image. Her works have been presented in numerous exhibitions both in France and internationally. In 2014, she participated in the Contemporary Drawing Biennale in Paris and was awarded the prize for Contem- porary Drawing the following year. Her most recent works explore drawing in very large formats and have been presented at a solo exhibition at Gurgy Art Centre, and also at the L’Inlassable Museum in New York in 2015. Her work has recently entered the collections of the Fondation Guerlain and the Drawing Cabinet of Fine Art in Paris.
